1916 Bungalow
Interior Design Portfolio
A perfect mash-up of historical and contemporary style! This sweet bungalow needed some big updates, but with a nod to its 100+ year history. Combining inherited art pieces, along with some contemporary furniture and fixtures, created a transitional style that’s welcoming and refreshing. Even the old, family dining set was refinished in a carbon stain and bold fabric to fit right in with a new, custom buffet in the dining room. In the living room, a sofa, swivel chairs, and a round coffee table allow the homeowner and guests to have a conversation or watch the TV tucked under the stairway on the opposite wall. Creating welcoming and functional spaces helps make a house feel like a home.
